Ruthenium on Carbon is required for hydrogenation of glucose to sorbitrol, for minimizing aromatic hydrocarbons etc. Available in black powder form, it has 50% to 70% water content. Its molecular weight is 113.11 and it has 99.9% purity level. It has up to 10% precious metal content and it does not dilute in water. It has 134.3 degree C flash point, 1.02 density and 3900 degree C boiling point. This powder based substance is flammable by nature and its refractive index is 1.587. This catalyst has less than 0.002% heavy metal content. Ruthenium on Carbon contains less than 0.04% moisture. Provided substance is required for selective hydrogenation of ketones and aliphatic aldehydes, for synthesis of ammonia and also or decreasing aliphatic carbonyl compounds.
